DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

About The Department:

The Department of COMPUTER SCIENCE is one of the departments established along with the establishment of College in the year 2018. Since the year of establishment the Department is offering two regular Under Graduate Programs B.Sc. [MPCSP] EM with intake capacity of 30 and B.Com [CA] EM with intake capacity of 60.

The Department is offering new Web Enabled Technology related to Data Science,Machine Learning and Data analyst programs with combinations of Mathematics, of Mathematics, Physics,Web Technology (M.P.WT)with an intake of 30 seats as a self-supporting programs in Undergraduate level to cater the needs of local students. Admissions for all these programs are now made based on merit and following reservations to various sections of the society through online mode by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

The faculty members of the department are actively involved in administrative work and, curricular, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities.

Now the Department is well established with the following facilities. The department has LCD PROJECTOR and OHP mounted class rooms to introduce various lectures on different topics available online. The department is also prepared PPTs and ICT based material to introduce day to day innovations in the Computer Science / Applications. The computer lab is well equipped with adequate facilities to train the students in their prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. The department lecturers are trained to introduce innovative techniques, Live Projects based on IT industries in Computers which are useful to motivate the UG students towards research.

Faculty members are always ready to use ICT tools in teaching learning process for the benefit of students. Department is giving equal importance for both theory and practical's in constructing the intellectual assets of the students.

Aims and Objectives of the Department:

Vision:

A computer science department's vision generally outlines its aspirations for the future, aiming to become a leading center of excellence in education and research.
